Good day to you all, I’m Manon from Quebec. Being hypersensitive and having an ADD, relationships are very challenging for me. I don’t really do people and people don’t really get me. I’m not very good at creating them and I often get hurt. It’s hard to stay open when you feel hurt. How can I keep myself from getting hurt and stay open?
Hi, I’m Diane from NH. I find being in a relationship enormously challenging. And I’ve a friend i contact when i’m in a pickle. Her advice invariably is: Just love them. But it’s not my first impulse! So this will be a “refresher” perhaps ___ Glad you’re doing this. glad I’m able to show up.

Lisa from Boston, Massachusetts, USA. This looks like a great reprieve from all the noise and support for staying in the present moment. It is important to me to understand where there are no words. Presence does more than improve life, it saves lives. For those without a voice commonly heard.

Sandy Hungerford
It is so lovely to read all the comments and I feel a sense of global connection and relationship already….I am very excited to participate in this network and look deeper at this subject of relationship. As social creatures we are (mostly) in relationship with others, however I am particularly interested as well, in the exploration of relating to myself. Historically I struggled to have a relationship with myself never mind anyone else… yet through mindfulness this has changed radically – the quote Susan said by John Tarrant Roshi that attention is pure love really struck a chord and resinates with me, so I am looking forward to the discussions and talks unfolding over the next few days. I am called Hannah and I live in Hampshire, England (UK). Much gratitude to everyone who has made this possible.
Thank you Rick , Susan and all the speakers for this opportunity to learn!

Hello everyone,
So moving to read all these wonderful voices. I am Cecilia, originally from Mexico City, now living not so far from it. I am a school teacher, a mom of two girls and I have been married to the love of my life for 19 years. I have learned that the only way to truly have meaningful relationships is by having an open heart to the tenderness of other hearts. We are all achy in one way or another and our pain can be such that we hurt ourselves and others. My work as a school teacher, as a wife and a mom requires so much open-heartedness but it is a moment to moment practice. This summit is a reminder to me that how we relate to ourselves and others requires total presence and getting out from our inner world to meet others. Looking forward to it
Really looking forward to this 🙂
I’m Mathew from Ebonyi State, Nigeria.
Your relationship tips are quite insightful and helpful.
I’m Kimbra from Chicago. This is AMAZING to be connecting with so many people from all over the world for this Summit! I’m here because I felt it was the right time to participate in the Summit. I’ve participated in SMC levels 1-4, Mudra classes, but it’s been awhile since I’ve had any type of exposure to teachers, and I am really looking forward to it again, and I’m finally ready again to look inward at what I’m doing outward.

I wasn’t planning on falling in love again, but along came this old acquaintance and it happened. I am almost 70 and I want to be as aware and mindful as I can this time around, so I thought I would join the forum!

Meg, from New Zealand,
I wish more than anything to BE love, give love and receive love in my life …. in all my interactions with people and with my children, close friends, siblings etc
To learn how to love freely without expectations, including myself (know I am loved and am loveable) …. and to view difficult conversations and interactions through the lens of love … so as to feel compassion for the other rather than being defensive or attacking or uncaring/neutral is what I hope to more and more be able to BE and DO ….I think Rick and Susan have the deep understanding and expertise to further this for me!
I thank them both for this opportunity to more deeply plant love in my attention and intention.
Hi Meg, from one kiwi to another, I love what you have written, especially… “the opportunity to more deeply plant love in my attention and intention”. Thank you 🙂
